This OpenOffice.org calc sheet can help you figure out possible buyins with a given poker chip set und help calculate the needed set breakdown when told what games are to be played.
All editable fields are colored in light blue.
features:
- enter a given chip set and get the buyin distribution for two tournament structures and various player numbers (2-20 + custom) at the same time.
- get a color coded advice which possible buyins might work best
- enter up to 5 different tournament structures (player numbers/buyins/rebuys) and get the needed set breakdown
- additional set breakdown calculator with interactive colorup support
- instant calculation without loadtimes as experienced in webbased calcs

- locked to prevent accidentally overwriting essential formulas (pw: gnugpl)
warning: To prevent possibly getting fractions for buyins try to use chip denominations where each denomination is a multiple of their next lower denom, i.e. 1/5/25/100/500/1000.
If you need to use non-multiple denoms, i.e. 10 and 25, and you get a buyin structure with fractions of chips, look at higher player numbers to find a buyin without fractions to use in your game.
